Sporify Sunday VMA'S Special (31 August 14) [Part 1/2]

Welcome to the second Spotify Sunday! Where I share to you what has been my songs and playlist of the week! Lets start! And if you don't have Spotify yet, make sure to get one because it's going to be one of the best decisions you will ever make. This week, I will feature the Frozen playlist because of last week's post. And I will be posting one of the best songs used for the VMA's this year with GIF Accompaniment. Click the GIF to listen to the songs.

Break Free by Ariana Grande   Performance Rating (3.5/5)

Her voice was a little off at the beginning but the parts with the high tune cancelled it out. Nice Job Ari!

Anaconda by Nicki Minaj   Performance Rating (3/5)

Yep. That Ari to Nicki transition tho. I know. Just regular Nicki Minaj Twerking. I know. 5SOS Member Michael (let all the 5SOS Family scream) was singing through the show. Everybody sing with me..."MY ANACONDA DON'T WANT NONE UNLESS YOU GOT BUNS HUN".

Bang Bang by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj   Performance Rating (4/5)

Okay. I am not used to what Jessie J is wearing. But she still rocked the performance with Ariana (and her fabulous high pitched voice) and Nicki Minaj. Good Show!

Shake it Off by Taylor Swift   Performance Rating (4.5/5) [Not Available on Spotify]

This part of the VMA's is an equation of The Great Gatsby + Aerobics + Tuxedos + 1989 + Nicki Minaj Jokes + Pyrotechnics ..... I shake it off I shake it off..... Great Performance Tay!

Amnesia by 5 Seconds of Summer   Performance Rating (5/5)

What can I say? This just made fangirls' ovaries explode. They need new ones. Let's raise Ovary Explosion by Fangirls Awareness.

Week in Review 1 (30 August 2014)

Welcome to Week in Review where I review the stuff that happened this week in my perspective!
1. Hello Kitty is actually a girl across the pond!

Photo/NEATSHOP

For over three or more decades, Hello Kitty has been known as a really famous cat, and many mysteries have revolved around this Japanese Trademark. But recently, an anthropologist named Christine R. Yano at the University of Hawaii will be holding a Hello Kitty exhibit to be called: Hello! Exploring the Supercute World of Hello Kitty. As the Anthropologist sent the draft to Sanrio that stated that Hello Kitty was actually a cat, she was proven wrong by Sanrio's official proofread for the exhibit. Well the news spread like wildfire (like that time when I told my mom about this and she just lost it) especially on Twitter, where marketing companies made the revelation into a running gag. Here are the tweets that shocked the Twitter world:

Praise God for a good Social Networking Team for McDonalds

Buwan ng Wika 2014: The La Salle Zobel Way (Special Post)

The last day of academic classes during the month of August is special in both ways: this is finally the last day when the Angelus and the Weekly Flag Ceremony Intercom are in Tagalog (for some students) and because of Filipinana. It was a very important day to me because of our dance presentation, a presentation of Filipino Folk Dances. It was a very nice interpretation of all the dances from sections A-I. Well our section (section I) won the dance! Section H came for 2nd Place and Section G came for 3rd Place. Section D won best costume!

The rest of the day was spent airplaying flappy golf and football, and pranking the class by airplaying Miranda Sings. And roaming from classroom to classroom to find filipino food.

Then it was spent to watch Year 4 Dance. Here are the Pictures:

The Last Olympian and a Special Blog Post!

      Hey Readers!

So I've been looking through my mini library on what book I should feature on the blog, and this is a rush entry because I forgot I was supposed to make a blog entry. Anyway, today I was feeling a bit nostalgic and I decided to pop up the final book of the PJO Series, which is The Last Olympian.

All the memories that came back to me from this, as I can remember just screaming at the book because of Silena Beaureguard and teared up a bit because of the camp bracelet chapter.

I mean who doesn't remember the underwater scene?
S:Pinterest
I still can't get over it.

And the really accurate description of the battles...

S: We Heart It

Hope you still memorized the map.

Since I've read the book (and have not got over it), I am not going to give out the details (and it's 2243 here :/)

Well I hope I could make up for the ugly blog post.

     -Josh

....
Readers Circle Update

Okay so I am part of a club where it is, obviously, a readers circle. And we didn't have a meeting today so I am very sorry for misleading the people who have read the previous post.

Author's Note:
To break the schedule of posts coming through, there is going to be a post on our school's culminating activity for tomorrow. I will be taking photos of literally everything  the following events, if it was approved though. Well anyway, thats a promise!

Playlist of the Week
_________________________________________________________________________________
High School Musical 3: Senior Year
I mean who doesn't like nostalgia? It was our finals last week [Hint: I am in High School] and with the power of my tortured cerebrum, we still sang through the playlist with my classmates (instead of memorizing cell transportation). The best song of the playlist? Well I couldn't choose one, so I put two. It's "High School Musical" and the "Senior Year Spring Musical". And if you thought there wouldn't be a spot for Disney, think again. We discovered the Frozen playlist on Spotify (visit the blog next Sunday to see what our findings were).

So this is the songs and playlist that ruled my week, Happy Weekend guys! And I hope to find some new tunes for you guys.
